So this hand came up. I open ATo from UTG+1, fairly standard imo. 2 people call and a pretty good flop comes.

When Acesplz1990 frontbets here on the flop I put him on a draw or a big made hand. He plays pretty straightforward (22/19/5 over 625 hands). I control the pot on the flop by flatcalling, nothing really special. The fish in the hand calls behind, I'd be really glad to get it in against him.

On the turn I hit trips and I bet to protect my hand. Acesplz1990 shoves over. What do you guys think? Could he be valueshoving any ten here? Does he have a set enough of the times to validate a fold? At this point I don't he has a draw anymore. Curious what you guys think.

I think its possible to fold here and without any previous reads except for the reggy stats I would maybe fold. Really tough though and the feeling of the table is important on these hands

Some more relevant information is he is 20/17 and almost never goes to showdown.

I agree with you twisted with the fact that I dont think he ever has a draw here being a fairly std tag. I really just dont think he would risk you checking back to validate a check/shove with any ten, meaning to do this he really isnt afraid of most rivers and has a fullhouse on the turn a ton.

Although it seems super nitty I think this is a fold as long as my assumptions about his game from what you and lazyfish have said are true

Well I took a page out of Jamie's book and altered the hand to make it a bit more interesting. What actually happened is that they both folded. While this hand was played out though, I was thinking about what I'd do when he would shove and I figured it would be a really interesting spot.

I think I like a fold as well against this player simply because I don't think he leads the flop with a ten here. Given that it's 3way I think he almost always has a stronger made hand against me when he shoves here. But if I was playing this hand in the moment I would probably snap it off.

besides, an all in would be $1.719 in this situation, not $1.729!
Big diffrence imo!
